Ruins of an edifice
Lay scattered and low
A forgotten remnant
Of a time unknown

Cryptic carving lay fragmented
Covered in moss and vines
Cursed and tainted souls tormented
Distorted and malign

Hidden behind verdant
Layers overgrown
Eroded and fractured
Effigies of stone

Those who dare cross into this land
Are assaulted by fear
The ill-fated cannot withstand
The deluge of despair

Specters of smoke surround
Rabid eyes red with rage
Shrilling shrieks resound
Writhing wraiths engage

Casting the barrage
Of anxiety
Down on their victims
A futility
Yielding to massive
Psychic energy

Over this lost domain
Drift formless masses
Their floating corpses lay
Sunk in morasses

Dead eyes frozen stare forever
Glaring back in disdain
Perpetually disfavored
By their own remains

Reflectingly disperse
Their dread harrasses
Renourished by the fear
Of who trespasses

In the land of wraiths
Dead are denied graves
Recalling their fates
Reigniting rage
